Cheers, cheers for ol' Chelsea High
Check this out! Who can name these cheerleaders? I think they were younger than our class, right? Rattle your brain cells awhile and submit a guess. The first one to name the most cheerleaders correctly in the comments section will win a free drink for the Fall 2007 Round-up. Can't make the 2007 Round-up? Don't worry -- your free drink will last until our 50th reunion! Prior winners cannot compete. Good-luck!

Lower left I think is Jean Young and lower right is Doris Haist. they were both Seniors when we were in 9th or 10th grade. I recall having a huge crush on Jean Young. Doris and her brother Ken lived on a farm on Haist road across from Bill VanRiper. Interestingly enough Doris Haist married Dave Crocker who is an attorney here in Kalamazoo. We recently baptized her grand son at our church.
Speaking of having a "Crush," upper left is Marlyn Haumbaum. She was CHS56. Bill, you are right in identifying Jean & Doris, and I think they were CHS55. Now I'm trying to get my brain to bring out the names of the other gals.
I think you might each have earned something here. Can anyone else top these guessers? Or, perhaps no one else had a crush on the others....
The middle top one is Helen Eisemann. She married Phil Bareis. I believe they both taught in Chelsea. Phil is brother to Richard Bareis who married my cousin Arlene Loeffler
Hey....four out of six IDs! Good going, you three. Anyone else want to name the other two?
