2008 CHS58 51st CLASS REUNION
September 17-20
Final Schedule
Sept. 17 Thursday Evening:
7:00pm – Planning Committee (Meaning any CHS58er in town) Meeting at Cleary’s Pub (Up-Town on Main Street). Dinner and make any final plans for the weekend.
Sept. 18 Friday:
9:00am Breakfast at Main Street Coney Island Restaurant.
6:00pm – Assemble at corner of S. Main & Old Hwy 12 (Old Polly’s Super Market parking lot). We can carpool at this time to go to the game and to go to Jim Grau’s after the game.
7:00pm – CHS Football Game.
About 9:00pm After the Game – Jim Grau’s place (737 S. Main St.) for “sloppy joes,” cold slaw, etc. Please BYOB. Soft drinks and beer will be available. Parking will be available on Pierce Street north of Jim’s place, Taylor Street off Pierce St. and the Hospital Parking Lot.
Sept. 19 Saturday:
9:00am - Breakfast at Main Street Coney Island Restaurant.
11:45am – For those needing transportation or those joining the caravan meet at Old Polly’s Super Market parking lot. Then depart for Tom’s country estates. Directions to Tom’s place have been sent by separate e-mail. Please bring any lawn chairs you have available.
12:00 noon – Tom Dault will be entertaining us at his country place. It is a rustic type environment with inside facilities but also outside activities. Tom has some 4 wheelers available for his riding trails. You can bring your golf cart if you want a more docile ride around. Bob and Bill will be grilling all the afternoon for us. Come evening, we’ll have to “play it by ear” in that, if the weather is good, we can hang out around a bond fire. Then Jan Bernath could host the marshmallow and weenie roast in the evening – so if there are any “weenies” out there that won’t be coming to the Reunion – be careful. If the weather is bad or folks are just not inclined to be out in the country late at night, then folks can meet at a restaurant in town for dinner.
Social hour will be all afternoon and evening until we get tired and go home.
Sept. 21 Sunday:
9:00am Breakfast at Main Street Coney Island Restaurant.
After Breakfast: Open time to attend church, visit grave sites of Classmates or spend some time with local friends.
