Hi - I stumbled upon your blog because I am the creator of the www.ThingsToDoInChelsea.com website, and I am always on the lookout for additional sources of Chelsea news, events and information. :)
Just wanted to comment on this blog post because if your class is interested in this book, you can most definitely find it at Cranesbill. Also, if you aren't in a hurry, it's likely that they can get you a signed copy because the author lives in the area. Their website is www.CranesbillBooks.com and their phone number is 433-BOOK.
Take care!
Leslie
NOTE--SHOULD I PURSUE SIGNED COPIES AS CITED ABOVE BY LESLIE?

Why not.
A reason NOT to pursue ordering these books is because I'd want to know that some (more than one) of them would be purchased. Do readers of this blog (other than Doug), want me to order them?
FYI--Packets and DVDs from the Historic Society will be available at the Depot when we meet. Sure hope some readers want them! So far, only Doug indicated an interest in purchasing a brick. And, Ron indicated he thought he'd die if he died. Perhaps a class brick and specify that no $$ is from Ron!
I'm going to order a brick with Ron's name on it.
-- just kidding Ron.
I like the idea of a "class brick" and I would gladly donate toward it. As far as the packets and DVD's from the Historical Society, I will check them out at the Roundup.
Bill Lake's comment on contributing toward a Class of 1958 class brick for the Depot Renovation project will be very welcomed, I'm sure. Do any other viewers want to make a contribution to a Class brick?
I'll contribute to a CHS58 Class Brick.
Sure tempted to get one with Don's name on it too.
Actually that was meant to read "...with Ron's name on it." Sorry Don, who ever you are.
