Anyone been to NYC (other than to change planes) since 1958? If so, why, where and when?

Actually, I have been there four times since 1958. Two times involved driving through parts of the city and dropping a car off at the port then catching a cab ride to JFK. And then two times, (three years later) reversing the above process. I didn't spend very much time in the city to do any sightseeing.
Thanks to the U.S. Navy, I was stationed there from Aug. '63 to Aug. '64 putting the U.S.S. Annapolis/AGMR-1 into commission. During that period, JFK was shot and The World's Fair was there. Needless to say, there are both good and bad memories.
