One of my favorite teachers in high school was Jim LaGoe. I recall that he encouraged me to write and said I was pretty good at it. I also liked the fact that his room wasn't arranged in straight lines. To me, it sort of encouraged creativity.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?

Mable Fox had to be one of the very best. Gene Shroyer was probably my most favorite. Al Conklin was right up there as well as Jack Musser and Jim Lagoe. I also thought Wes Cowell was a fine teacher.
I would agree with you Doug regarding Miss Fox and Mr. Shroyer.......OOPS thats right we can call him Gene now. Will I ever get used to that?
Al Smith and Jack Musser were memorable. For that mtter so was John Griffin, but for another reason that I won't get into here!!
Looking back we were blessed to have grown up in Chelsea when we did. Caring parents, caring teachers and caring about each other. Nice to see this continuing today.
