Another Option!

As I said, the Depot sorely needs repairs! If you want to see your name immortalized in a brick, here's your chance! In 1985, people contributed to purchase and restore the Depot. Many people bought bricks that are in the walkway outside. A brick costs $75.00, and you can participate now using this order form. Or, I'll try to make sure there are some forms at the Depot on September 15 at our fall round-up. Another thought would be to collect contributions for the CHS Class of 1958 brick(s).

Like the curse of King Tut's Tomb, I walk on the bricks with names at the depot. Both my parents, aunt and uncle, most of my parent's friends and many other people whose name I recognize... all dead. Putting your name on a brick is like a "death note" that kicks in some death god's curse.I'll leave $75 in my will for a brick AFTER I die of natural causes.

I don't think making a contribution is causal, so I assume people didn't die immediately upon making a contribution! My folks contributed at the time of the first restoration and lived many good years afterwards.

Ron, perhaps if you quit digging the bricks up and taking them home with you to pave your driveway, the "death gods" would quit pestering you. Spring for the $75. tightwad.
