50 Year Class Reunion
I thought using some modern technology may assist us with organizing our 50 year class reunion. Yes -- that's right -- we will be having our 50th class reunion next year (2008)! I also thought this might help us with our annual gatherings in the summer, as well as help folks stay connected. Let's see if it works... Pass this site on to others you know who graduated from Chelsea High School in the class of '58 and let's see what happens. Thanks!

I was looking at a "recent" photo of one of our Reunions that appeared in the Chelsea Standard. Good gosh, it was dated July 28, 1993 some 14 years ago. So you'all, I sure hope to see all of you guys/gals in 2007 or at least for our 50th in 2008.
Love ya
I'll be there next year, but uncertain about this year.
Carl and I are coming for two weeks June 22-July7 this year, and have lots of family obligations, but hopefully will see some of you.
Ok gang, it's good to see folks starting to respond to this site. I think we do pretty good considering most of our generation did not get introduced to computers until way after college even (way, way after for some of us). In my case it was the late 70's when I found out I had a little apptitude for these contraptions (spelling?)
How about you folks commenting on how you got started using computers, through work or just at home for games and stuff. I'll bet a lot of you can thank your kids for getting a home computer.
Also how often do you use them. Every day? Once a week? Once a month (steady Doug, we're talking about computers here)?
Come on gang, let's hear from you!
I got started using computers just as the Radio Shack Model II business computer became available in early 1980 (I believe). It cost me about $ 9,000.00 in the configuration we used to do accounting write-up work. Expensive yes, but it beat recording all the business checks, etc. by hand on spread-sheets. And do you know who wrote the softwear for the accounting programs for Radio Shack? Oh just some small up-start young fellow and company known as Bill Gates and his company was called Microsoft. Hey, back then, I thought those guys had potential. Too bad I didn't buy some of their stock.
