Who "enriched" all those young lives?

"When our last child was entering Kindergarten, I started working at our church’s new preschool as an instructional aide. I started taking Early Childhood Education College courses and, 5 years later, became the Director of the school. It was an enrichment program for two and one half hours Monday through Friday mornings. I ended up working there for over 24 years!"

Who had so many moves?

"Over a span of 20 years we lived in Long Beach, Monterey and San Diego in California; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Northern Virginia; and Annapolis, Maryland. During this time my husband also had 2 one-year unaccompanied tours--one to Vietnam and one to Korea."

I notice no one responded to the previous question. Whose bio is longest? (Refer to side bar column and look for * as an indication of bios received so far. A new question will be submitted after the first one is correctly answered. (Or, at least someone attempts an answer!)

You will notice the people in the right-hand column who have replied positively about coming to the reunion. Now we have * that means a biography has been received by the biographer and a + that means a picture has been received. June 1 is the deadline to fill in the * and + if you wish to be included in the booklet. Bios are ranging from 250 words to too many at 2,000!

A new approach to golfing!

An idea from Ron Clark regarding a low-stress golf outing (and cheaper too)

Spouses, kids, grandkids, brothers, sisters, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins of the 1958 graduating class of Chelsea High School and 1958 fellow graduates are all invited to the golfing fun (non-competitive) outing. We could do non-scoring or 2 or 4 person scrambles type of games. Hell, as long as you pay the fee, you could just ride a cart around with the group.

Potential intriguing and touching story

Sandy and I ran into Jim Grau last night at Thompson's Pizza (where else?) He told a very intriguing and touching story to us. I promised I would put it on the blog if he wrote it out (since, he doesn't type!).
