We're having lunch this year at the beautifully restored Grass Lake Depot in the heart of downtown Grass Lake on Sunday, August 30, 2015. Perhaps it's been on your bucket list, so write the place, date, and time down now!  Doors will be opening at 1 pm for our catered lunch. Price TBD depending on how many come--somewhere between $10-$15.

Please let us know by return email or phone Sandy at 734-475-8862 by August 10th.  This lunch is two days after the service for Byron.

We'll provide coffee and iced tea, but if you wish anything else—BYOB. Seriously. Attached is a picture of the sweet, stone depot.

The memorial service for Byron will be held in the First Congregational Church on August 28 at 11 a.m. in Roscommon, MI.  Address of the church is:109 South Main Street.

If an obituary is published, it most likely will be in the Houghton Lake Resorter.  Byron died of a heart attack in his recliner Friday, July 31st.

More sad news

Byron was found dead today in his recliner.  Jim Grau had been telling Sandy and me that Byron was feeling better in the last few years, and they were thinking of going back up to Canada next year to fish.

Arrangements are uncertain at this time, but I will post them as soon as they are known.
